We’ve addressed the growth and development of the Montreal digital health ecosystem on various occasions and how it has evolved into one of the leading medical technology and digital health clusters in Canada, and North America. We’ve described how this achievement is only possible due to the collaboration of a diverse set of stakeholders including Universities, Investors, Hospitals, Industry, Government and of course People, at all levels working together and dedicated to building and growing the ecosystem.
A new initiative being led by Investissement Québec provides a perfect illustration of this type of collaboration. The objective of the initiative is to help Quebec based digital health companies and medical technology firms gain access to the US market. The Cohort includes member companies of MEDTEQ+ and is being hosted at Centech. The collaboration also includes the US based Medical Alley Association and is sponsored by Johnson & Johnson MedTech,
The program will last 4-months and concludes in December 2022 with an economic mission to the ‘Medical Alley’ in Minneapolis, MN where participating companies will have a series of networking and coaching sessions. We wish them great success.
