The Montreal based IVADO institute is a Québec-wide collaborative institute in the field of digital intelligence, dedicated to transforming new scientific discoveries into concrete applications and benefits for all of society. IVADO, which stands for, Institute for Data Valorization, is unique in its approach and seeks to accelerate Québec’s digital transformation by being a catalyst for progress in research into the harnessing of big data for decision-making.
A collaboration of Academia, Government and Industry, IVADO is driven by one profound conviction: data and algorithms are changing the world we live in, and they offer incredible potential for innovation.
IVADO draws from many digital intelligence disciplines and utilizes them to address challenges in various sectors of social and economic activity including health.
It is through their involvement in the emerging field of digital health that IVADO announced the signing of network partnerships with the Consortium de recherche biopharmaceutique (CQDM), the Consortium industriel de recherche et d’innovation en technologies médicales (MEDTEQ+) and Montréal InVivo, the life sciences and health technologies (LSHT) cluster of Greater Montréal. The three organizations, all working to develop and support innovative technologies in the health field, are joining forces with IVADO to promote the development of digital health solutions.
The strategic partnership will expand the partners’ respective networks by providing privileged access to health care stakeholders, including those in industry, universities, and research and care centers. The partnership will also accelerate the adoption and innovation of health technology by catalyzing knowledge mobilization and transfer as well as university-industry collaborative research through networking and training activities.
